Program Emphasis:

Each child grows and develops at a different rate. Children will be encouraged to learn about themselves and their world through positive interaction, play and Christ centered teaching. To help children prepare for their school years ahead, teachers will emphasize Name Recognition, Verbalization, Good Listening, Sharing and Gross and Fine Motor Skill development. Throughout the program year there will also be emphasis on Letters and Letter sounds, Shapes, Colors and Numbers. In addition to the academic piece, our teachers will reinforce the values of politeness and good manners, that you are teaching at home, and help foster positive self esteem, self confidence and independence in your child.

At Bright Beginnings we are passionate about showing children unconditional love as we teach them about the unconditional love of our God, toward us. Our classes, at every age, include: Circle time, Center time, Bible Stories and Singing, Crafts, Recreation Time, a CDO provided Morning Snack, Free Play and Lunch Time. In addition to the classroom time, we also schedule special activities on various days throughout the month. These include Mystery Readers for story time, Songfests, Holiday Themed Activities and Outreach events to help others within our community.

Additional Information:

Our enrollment is open to all children, regardless of race or religious affiliation. We provide a safe, clean environment where the children are supervised at all times and taught by highly qualified, compassionate teachers. We use redirection and positive reinforcement in dealing with inappropriate behavior. Communication will be of utmost importance between teachers, parents and director. We operate as a license exempt program registered with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
